Pinterest Now Third Most Popular Social Network

Socialtimes reports that Pinterest is now the third most popular social network in the U.S. This ranking is according to a new 2012 Digital Marketer report, which says "Pinterest is now the 3rd most popular social networking site behind Facebook and Twitter." This would put Pinterest ahead of Google+ and Myspace.

Pinterest lets users set up boards for different categories and then "pin" blog posts and articles to the boards using photographs. The rapidly growing social network is obviously very photo-centric and very visual. It works best for blogs and online magazines with lots of photographs.
