Knowledge Management Magazine Premieres

Posted on October 1, 1998

The Curtco Freedom Business Intelligence Group announced the premiere October issue of Knowledge Management magazine. With a controlled circulation of 100,000, Knowledge Management magazine is published on a monthly basis beginning with the October issue. The magazine is targeted at CEOs, VPs, and senior-line business managers as well as information executives, including CIOs and CKOs (Chief Knowledge Officers), of large and midsize enterprise organizations.

"Organizations must leverage their intellectual capital to succeed," according to Thomas Koulopoulos, president of the Delphi Group. He adds, "Those lacking a thorough appreciation of knowledge management issues need to act quickly to avoid being left behind as knowledge becomes increasingly important as a basis of innovation, market value, and competition." Bob Tasker, senior vice president of the Yankee Group, adds, "We predict that by the year 2000, companies and organizations in the United States alone will be spending over $5 billion on the tools and technologies needed to manage knowledge. This field will become a critical factor in determining financial success and survival."
