Google Launches +1 Button

Google has announced the launch of its +1 Button, which will let Google surfers +1 search results. People will also be able to +1 Adsense ads.

The name, +1, that Google came up with is a good one. Bloggers are likely going to want the +1 button on blog permalinks next to the Tweet button and Facebook's Like button, especially if items that are +1'd will rank even slightly higher in search results.

Search Engine Land has a good intro to the +1 button here. The post says the +1 button is coming for websites, but search integration is Google's first priority. Google has a page here that says it will notify you when the +1 button is avaialble.
