GameTap Launched With Over 300 Games

TBS, Inc. recently announced the official launch of GameTap, a broadband entertainment and gaming network. The network launched with some 300 games from 24 publishers. Subscribers download the Turner-developed software from gametap.com. Subscriptions are $14.95 per month. GameTap will feature titles from the early arcades, PCs, and popular video game consoles, including the Sega Genesis and Dreamcast, Atari 2600, and Intellivision. Original programming will include magazine, reality, and lifestyle shows, interviews with the who's who of gaming, celebrity features, and "game trailers" for the GameTap service.
