Prolific Author Danielle Steel Would Like to Write 100 More Books

Author Danielle Steel has written 113 books. Her 113th book, Legacy, was published on September 28th. She told Time magazine that she would like to write 100 more books. In the interview, she talked about her writing process. She works on one novel at a time and does 22-hour stints for several weeks until the novel is done.

I only work on one at a time. I'll start from the beginning to the end. Then I put it aside. I can't do two chapters in one and then another chapter in another one. I do 22-hour stints for several weeks until it's done. I don't go shopping. I don't take messages. I don't go out. I stay with the book.
