Aaron Sorkin on New HBO Show: I'm a Writer So I Don't Have to Live in the Real World

Creator and executive producer of Newsroom Aaron Sorkin talked to CNN's Piers Morgan about how he approached the writing for the new HBO drama. Sorkin says that he is a writer, so he doesn't have to live in the real world. That gives him the freedom to write the show however he wants to. He says they use real news on the show, but the characters are all totally fictional, and are not based on real people. Jeff Daniels plays a news anchor who is having a rough time. Take a look:
