Claire Belton to Publish Pusheen the Cat Book

Claire Belton is publishing a book about her Pusheen the Cat character, called I Am Pusheen the Cat. Pusheen is riding a little vehicle on the cover.

Claire Belton runs the pusheen.com website, which features an animated web comic series about the adventures of Pusheen the kitten. The site, which is also popular on Facebook and Tumlr, includes cute animated GIFs of Pusheen, such as this how-to of Pusheen making cookies. It begins with Pusheen wanting cookies and ends with Pusheen tasting all of the cookie dough. Pusheen never gets to the baking phase.

Pusheen's favorite pastimes are blogging and sleeping. She loves all kinds of food. We can relate.
