  • Man Booker International Prize 2018 Longlist Announced
    The longlist for the 2018 Man Booker International Prize has been announced. The Man Booker Dozen of 13 novels have been translated from ten different languages. The list includes two previous winners of the award: Han Kang (2016) and László Krasznahorkai (2015). You can view the full 2018 longlist here. (March 14, 2018)

  • 2018 Judy Gaines Young Book Award Winner Announced
    Author Kathleen Driskell has won the 2018 Judy Gaines Young Book Award. The annual award is presented annually by Transylvania University.   • John A. Farrell Wins New-York Historical Society Book Prize
    John A. Farrell has won the Barbara and David Zalaznick Book Prize in American History for his book, Richard Nixon: The Life. The award is given by the New-York Historical Society to recognize the best book of the year in the field of American history or biography.   • Caighlan Smith Wins 2018 Scottish Teenage Book Prize
    23-year-old fantasy novelist Caighlan Smith has won the 2018 Scottish Teenage Book for her novel, Children of Icarus.   • 2018 Golden Kite Winners Announced
    The 2018 Golden Kite Winners have been announced by the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). Kenard Pak won in Picture Book illustration for Goodbye Autumn, Hello Winter. Carolyn Crimi won in Picture Book text for There Might Be Lobsters. You can can find the winners in all categories here. (February 5, 2018)
