Liz Cheney, daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, has announced plans to run for a U.S. Senate seat from Wyoming. She is running as a Republican and hopes to unseat Republican Senator Mike Enzi. Enzi is running for a fourth, six-year term in the Senate.

The New York Times reports that the GOP is worried about a Republican vs. Republican race. Rand Paul has said he will do anything he can do help Enzi defeat Liz Cheney.
