X-Factor judge is on the verge of signing a contract with HarperCollins' It Books, the imprint that has brought us autobiographies of Sammy Hagar, Slash and Motley Crue.
The Hollywood Reporter's source says the deal is similar to the one for reality star Lauren Conrad. Britney will write a roman a clef filled with fictionalized versions of her own life story and experiences. Lauren Conrad has three novels out and they have all sold very well indeed.
