XS Becomes City Link

Posted on September 10, 1997

XS magazine, an arts and entertainment weekly in Broward and Palm Beach counties, is changing its name to City Link to better reflect its content and the market it serves. The name change takes place on Wednesday, Sept. 10.

The changes in the paper are reflected in its new name, City Link, which emphasizes the publication's link to the communities it serves and positions it as a source of information about South Florida news and entertainment.

City Link has a weekly readership of more than 90,000 and is distributed free in Broward County and South Palm Beach County. It is published by Gold Coast Publications, a subsidiary of the Fort Lauderdale-based Sun-Sentinel Company.
