Women.com Networks announced its acquisition of the Stork Site, a well-known cyber nest for expectant mothers. With the addition of Stork Site, the company expands its reach to serve another important Web audience, providing a resource and gathering place for expectant and new mothers.

Women.com brings to the venture leadership in reaching women on the Web with engaging content and community covering the areas of work, personal finance, health, style, and now parenting. The acquisition comes on the heels of the consolidation of the company's Web sites under the women.com network URL.
