Wine Spectator Online Undergoes Redesign

Posted on September 15, 1998

Wine Spectator Online has been redesigned with a new color palette, punchier graphics and easier navigation. In addition, Wine Spectator Online will also be offering wine lovers advance information about some of the hottest wines set to be reviewed in the magazine's next issue.

Wine Spectator rates wines on a 100-point scale. Registered web users have the unique opportunity to learn about some of the new hot wines a week before the magazine is published. Users can also receive an email alerting them whenever more hot wines are posted. Wine Spectator's website has also added an interactive food and wine matching database. This new feature allows users to select a wine and receive suggested food matches, or choose a food and get suggested wine matches.
