Website Launched to Promote New Warner Release

Posted on November 24, 1997

An unusual new, interactive web site for the new Warner Books novel The Last Day by Glenn Kleier is now up and running on the Internet. The site features prequel news reports, chatlines, the latest reviews and industry buzz on the novel, and more. The novel, which earned a top ten spot on the Baker & Tayler prepublication bestseller list, has also earned starred reviews from Kirkus and the ALA Best Fiction Hotlist.

Combining the metaphysical overtones of The Celestine Prophecy with the nerve-wrenching scientific thrills of Michael Crichton, The Last Day looks destined to be an international bestseller. The story follows a TV correspondent who must determine the true nature of an incredible new being . . .with the fate of the world hanging in the balance. Film rights to the novel have been sold to Columbia/TriStar and optioned for an NBC miniseries.
