Voice of Wellness Announces About Living, a New Web Community

Posted on February 18, 1998

About Living is planned to be a growing, active community of likeminded people -- a place where information and resources relating to all aspects of wellness, spirituality, and holistic living are brought together with real people and real stories. About Living is the first of three new web communities created by Voices of Wellness.

Currently featured is an in depth interview with former astronaut Edgar Mitchell. Mitchell speaks on his thoughts, work, and vision, exploring the idea that mind and attitude affect health and wellbeing. Another article speaks on Rembrandt, art, and receptivity and another focuses on twenty-first century healing. This week there is a chat session scheduled on mindful parenting, as well as one on hypnotherapy.

Similar to an online magazine, About Living is organized into topic headings such as Mind & Spirit, Men & Women, Health & Body, Parenting, Kids, and Personal Growth. Within each of these are related articles and resources, as well as the community chat sessions.

Developed to bring together free resources with ideas, Voices of Wellness is a forum for thought, spirituality, creativity, and health. The communities to come are "Art & Essence" and "Healthy Workplace." Voices of Wellness also has a free biweekly Community Voices Newsletter, with updates on the site, stories, and more resource information.
