Vent Publications Announces Launch of Website

VENT Magazine online is the prelude to the magazine's print edition, due to hit newsstands in March 1998. But unlike most magazine Web sites, VENT Magazine online does not regurgitate the print contents. It's a sounding board for critical thinkers and a one-stop source of essential information.

It's the place where participants sound off on what's making news, discuss positive race relations, offer a deep thought, reveal an embarrassing moment and participate in surveys. The best responses are then published in VENT Magazine and given national attention.

Web sections include:

ICD/The Hearst Corp. will handle newsstand distribution and marketing for the print edition of VENT Magazine. VENT Magazine has a cover price of $2.95 in the U.S. and $3.95 in Canada, and will be published ten times a year.
