UK Soccer Directory Launches

UK Football Pages, the UK's only dedicated soccer directory, opened today and contains listings for all English, Scottish and National teams with Welsh, N.Irish and English Non-league teams available shortly.

"What the fans like about the directory is that they get to see a description of each site listed - a description which is provided by the web site owner. That helps them select which sites they want to visit." said Lee Brookes, Managing Director of LJB Ltd, publishers of UK Football Pages. "As the web expands and the major search engines become more and more congested we expect to see many other niche directories such as this"

One can probably measure the popularity of a particular team by the number of web sites it has listed and it is hardly surprising to find that Manchester Utd has the most. Also interesting is how many of the web sites are published by fans outside of the UK, even as far afield as Australia.
