Tyra Banks to Write Three Book Series

Reuters reports that Tyra Banks is writing a three book series for Delacorte Press about a fictional place called Modelland. Modelland is also the name of the first book in the series. Models and Modeling is something Tyra Banks knows a great deal about so it makes sense for her novels to have something to do with the fashion industry. The former supermodel has been hosting America's Next Top Model for several years.

The novels follow a teen girl who is enrolled at a special academy for exceptional models. These models are known as Intoxibellas. Tyra Banks says the Intoxibellas in her series have super powers. It does sound intriguing. Modelland will arrive in bookstores next summer.
