Zondervan announced that The Purpose-Driven Life, the #1 New York Times bestseller, has sold 10 million copies in the English language alone since its release in September of 2002. The Purpose-Driven Life by Rick Warren quickly became a bestseller and has been a mainstay on numerous bestseller lists including USA Today, Publisher's Weekly, Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble and The New York Times.
The wildly successful book has remained for 43 consecutive weeks on the Times list. It has hit the #1 spot five times. Over 1 million copies of The Purpose-Driven Life have sold through Sam's Club alone. The book was also named the 2003 Christian Book of the Year by the Evangelical Christian Publisher's Association.
