The Detroit Free Press Introduces AllDetroit

Posted on June 29, 1998

The Detroit Free Press has launched a new website -- AllDetroit, a comprehensive directory for people looking for information about Michigan. AllDetroit provides daily headlines and links to thousands of websites throughout the state. Features include a visitors guide, city profiles, links to favorite vacation spots around the state, websites in Canadian cities, and information for golfers, skiers and others who love the Michigan outdoors.

"This is a terrific idea that allows anyone who wants to find useful information about our region to go to one site and find it," Free Press Publisher Heath J. Meriwether said. "AllDetroit will save time for everyone trying to make the Internet work for them. As a big user of the Web myself, I'm thrilled."
