Technology Business Magazine Debuts January 1998

Posted on September 26, 1997

DASAR, Inc., an infrastructure company serving the global information technology market, will unveil plans to launch a new monthly publication, Technology Business, at the ETRE Conference (Sept. 28-Oct. 1, 1997), in Budapest, Hungary next week.

Beginning in January, 1998, some 45,000 senior managers of global companies based in the United States will receive Technology Business, with editorial content focused on information technology with a global perspective.

"Until Technology Business, no publication has brought together the global news and information resources necessary to provide readers with focused and timely information critical to the management of global organizations. Traditional technology and computer magazines today focus on local markets," said Alex Vieux, chairman and CEO of DASAR, Inc., and CEO of the publishing joint venture.

DASAR's venture partner, ComputerWire Plc, is based in London, and has published Computer Business Review (CBR) for four years, on which Technology Business, the U.S. publication, is based. ComputerWire is the publisher of Computergram and the creator of the Unix weekly, Unigram, along with CBR and 11 other high technology newsletters and publications.
