Steven Taub Named Editor of Individual Investor Online

Individual Investor Group, Inc. announced that Steven Taub has been hired for the newly-created position of editor of Individual Investor Online. Mr. Taub joins the company after 18 years at Financial World, where he was most recently editor-in-chief.
Jonathan Steinberg, Chief Executive Officer of Individual Investor Group, said that "Individual Investor Online is not simply a mirror of our print products. The service continues to grow exponentially in terms of page views, revenues, and registered users, and we need an experienced financial editor to manage our expanding array of online content. Steve is the ideal candidate for this job."
Mr. Taub joined Financial World in 1981 as a writer, served as a columnist from 1988 to 1993, Assistant Managing Editor from 1993 to 1996, and as editor-in-chief from 1996 to 1998. Prior to Financial World he was at the Associated Press and Hearst Publications. Mr. Taub holds a B.A. in Mass Communications with a minor in English writing from Queens College.
Launched in May, 1997, Individual Investor Online is the companion site to Individual Investor magazine. Individual Investor Online delivers investing and financial information to its subscribers and maintains content partnerships with the Internet sites including AltaVista, CNET, Yahoo!, Cox Interactive Media, Quote.com, PointCast, WhoWhere?, Planet Direct, and AOL's Digital City New York. To date, Individual Investor Online has attracted over 115,000 registered users.
