Sony Music Online has unveiled their redesigned website. In addition to information on all Sony Music artists, Sony Music Online site is now organized into four major categories: Music, which incorporates all related sections for easy access to new releases, clips, touring information, etc.; News, which features live listings, access to Sony Music e-mail newsletters, news programs and more; The Lab, which incorporates all multimedia sections such as CDEXTRA, DVD, ConnecteD, and games, and; World, which houses links to all affiliate labels as well as access to Sony Music sites throughout the world.

"The streamlining of Sony Music Online provides music fans with quick and easy access to the extraordinary wealth of up-to-the-minute information contained on the site," said Fred Ehrlich, Senior Vice President, General Manager, Sony Music New Technology and Business Development, "and the addition of new features makes Sony Music Online even more entertaining and informative than ever before."

The improved design also includes a number of new sections, including: Unreleased, which gives fans exclusive sneak peeks of soon-to-be released material; Virtual Press Conference, where Music fans can call in questions to their favorite Sony Music artists, and then hear their questions and the artists' responses broadcast on the site in streaming audio; Clips of the Day, which will feature one audio and one video clip per day, and; Games...All Work and No Play, a new game section.
