Slate Magazine Launches International Summary of News Coverage

Posted on December 15, 1997

Slate, an interactive magazine of news, politics and culture, launched an international edition of its popular Today's Papers feature, an electronic summary of the day's top newspaper coverage.

International Papers is the newest addition to the popular Briefing section of Slate, which includes Today's Papers, a daily summary of the top U.S. news coverage, and the weekly Pundit Central, a Monday morning review of the weekend public affairs shows.

On the heels of the International Papers debut, Slate will soon offer two new editorial features: the first serial novel on the Internet, an e-mail mystery entitled "Reply All," and Dear Prudence, an advice column written by a most unexpected Washington luminary.
