Slate Magazine Announces Subscription Pricing

Slate(R) online magazine, Microsoft Corp.'s interactive magazine of news, politics and culture, edited by Michael Kinsley, begins offering subscriptions tomorrow.
Effective March 9, 1998, Slate will be available to subscribers only, at an introductory subscription rate of $19.95, with limited content remaining free on the Internet. Subscribers have unlimited access to Slate features and columns, archives, e-mail and interactive services.
A sampling of Slate content will continue to remain free , including the following:
- * Today's Papers - a daily look at how the news is being covered each morning by America's top dailies. Only subscribers will be able to receive daily e-mail delivery.
- * Michael Kinsley's Readme column
- * One feature article of the week
- * One feature article from the archives
