Simon & Schuster to Publish Novel by Snooki

Simon & Schuster's Gallery Books imprint recently announced it will be publishng a novel written by Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi in January, 2011. Snooki is a star on MTV's Jersey Shore. Snooki's novel is tentatively titled A Shore Thing. The novel will revolve around a girl (with big hair and a dark tan) looking for love on the boardwalk.

Snooki says, "I'm pumped to announce to my fans a project that I've been working on for some time. This book will have you falling in love at the shore. It's A Shore Thing!"

Gothamist notes that Snooki told the New York Times that Snooki has only read two books in her entire life, Twilight and Dear John. Snooki has no writing credits to her name except for a few thousand tweets.
