The San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau today launched the official San Francisco visitor web site, the essential online resource for planning a trip to "Everybody's Favorite City."
The comprehensive site contains extensive information and offers targeted sections for leisure and business travelers, convention and event planners, travel trade, travel media, and Bureau members. The site contains many valuable features including local and state maps, travel tips, frequently asked questions, a narrative tour through some popular and little-known areas of San Francisco, and an extensive calendar of events. Whether planning a trip for business or pleasure, the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau site delivers practical and general information for a wide variety of tastes and interests.
The SFCVB site features several sophisticated search functions that enable users to access over 2,200 member convention, hospitality, and travel-related businesses. Separate search functions for dining, lodging, and shopping also are provided, enabling users to find information for customized planning of a San Francisco visit.
The site also features several customized forms to book a meeting or convention, request visitor information, order printed material, request tour planning or travel media assistance. In addition, Bureau staff listings offer direct on-line communication with staff for questions and comments.
