Rona Jaffe Foundation Writers' Award Winners Announced

The winners of the The Rona Jaffe Foundation Writers' Awards have been announced. The 2010 winners are Hannah Dela Cruz Abrams, Rachel Aviv, Sara Elizabeth Johnson, Alexandria Marzano-Lesnevich, Laura Newbern, and Tiphanie Yanique. The six emerging women writers will receive awards of $25,000 each. You can view photos and bios of the winners here.

Rona Jaffe (1931-2005) established The Rona Jaffe Foundation Writers' Awards program in 1995. The literary awards program supports women writers exclusively. Since the program began, the Foundation has awarded more than $1 million to emergent women writers.
