Primedia Launches Energy Manager Magazine

James A. Warner, president of the PriMedia Magazine Group, announced that Intertec Publishing, PriMedia's technical and trade magazine division, will launch Energy Manager magazine in July 1998 to meet the dynamic business information needs of energy producers and consumers.

The magazine will target energy management executives, managers and supervisors at industrial, commercial, institutional, governmental and healthcare facilities. It will provide coverage of the business and technical subjects that will enable readers to negotiate, purchase and manage use of their electric and gas power supplies and associated equipment more effectively and efficiently.

Energy Manager will be published three times in 1998 (July/August, September/October and November/December) and then will be published monthly beginning in 1999.

PriMedia Inc. (previously K-III Communications), is a source of specialized information in targeted media (specialty magazines, trade magazines, consumer and business information) and education (classroom and workplace learning). Some key brands include Seventeen, New York, Chicago, Soap Opera Digest, Soap Opera Weekly, Channel One, Weekly Reader, Horticulture, World Almanac, Modern Bride and American Baby.
