The Jordan, Edmiston Group, Inc. announced today that Primedia Intertec has sold its Atlanta, Georgia-based Health Management Technology magazine to Nokomis, Florida-based Nelson Publishing. The Jordan, Edmiston Group served as financial advisor to Primedia Inc.

Founded in 1980, Health Management Technology magazine offers business news, feature articles and real world case studies to a circulation (as of June 1998) of 35,000 senior health care industry executives. Health Management Technology magazine serves the $17 billion IT market of hospitals, clinics, managed care organizations (HMOs, PPOs and IPAs), consultants, vendors of systems software and equipment, and related businesses.

"Health Management Technology magazine's established role as a key information provider at the forefront of two important trends: systemic change in health care and the acceleration of the integration of IT into health management systems will make it a good addition to Nelson Publishing's family of information technology publications," said Richard DW Mead, managing director of The Jordan, Edmiston Group.
