Positive Press Launches Positive Net Website

The Athens Institute announced the latest addition to the Positive Press family of Web sites, Positive Net. The new site is the third in the group, building on the success of Positive Press and Good Vs Evil.
The new site, Positive Net, features stories, books, and essays written from a positive perspective. The material is selected for its ability to provide inspiration and moral courage. Some of the selections offered include:
- Excerpts from The State of Humanity, a book showing the improving
long-term historical trends in health, standards of living, housing,
pollution levels, and many other aspects of life. This book is
written by well-known economics professor Julian Simon.
- "Dangerous Minds Open Hearts", an essay by the producers of the
"Northern Exposure" television series about their eye-opening
exposure to adolescent urban life.
- "The Best Within Us", an essay by philosopher David Kelley about
the relative values of pleasure, prestige, achievement, and virtue.
- "The Johnny Brownpants Stories", a series of children's adventure stories by Jay Fuller for which Positive Net holds exclusive publication rights.
