Petersen Publishing Completes Acquisition of Stereophile Magazine

James Dunning Jr., Chairman and CEO of The Petersen Companies, Inc., announced the completion of the acquisition of Stereophile Magazine and Stereophile Guide to Home Theater (two high-end audio and home theatre publications) as well as HI-FI '98, The Home Theater & Specialty Audio Show. Petersen Companies announced in a release on May 18, 1998 that they agreed to acquire Stereophile Magazine, Stereophile Guide to Home Theater, and HI-FI '98. The acquisition was completed on May 31, 1998.
