Peter Brown Talks Illustrating Creepy Carrots

Creepy Carrots is a children's picture about Jasper Rabbit, a rabbit who just loves to eat carrots, especially the carrots from Crackenhopper Field. Jasper Rabbit eats the carrots everyday, until one day he notices the carrots have started following him. The book was written by Aaron Reynolds and illustrated by Peter Brown.

Brown discusses his inspirations for the story about the rabbit being stalked by his favorite food in this video. Brown says the story reminded him of The Twilight Zone, which served as inspiration for his drawings of Jasper Rabbit and the creepy carrots. Take a look:
