No Oscars for True Grit Despite Ten Nominations

True Grit, a film based on the 1968 novel by Charles Portis, did not take home a single Oscar last night despite its ten nominations. You can see a list of all the categories True Grit was nominated in here.

Going zero for ten has to be pretty tough on the cast and crew. Despite the lack of a win it was still impressive for a film to have so many nominations. Young True Grit star Hailee Steinfeld was nominated for Best Supporting Actress.
