If you have experienced a "date from hell" the authors of a new book want to know about them. Victoria Jackson & Mike Harris are compiling a book called "Dates From Hell", to be published soon by Cumberland House Publishers, Inc.

"Let’s face it, dating can be hell. And funny," said British-born Harris. "'Dates From Hell’ is a collection of true, funny-awful stories of dating nightmares. Awful evenings, noxious nights, woeful weekends. They're all in there."

"But right now, we need more stories," added Jackson. "We know they’re out there, so we've set up a website to make it easy for people to reach us."

The datesfromhell.com site (no longer available) includes a sample story, information about the book and how to submit stories by fax, e-mail, snail mail, or by using the e-form right from the website.

If your story is selected for publication in "Dates From Hell", you receive a free first edition of the book signed by the authors. Those without Internet access may fax stories to (615) 269-9765, or mail them to Dates From Hell, P.O. Box 60393, Nashville, TN 37206-0393.

"We have received stories from all across the USA, and from Australia and Great Britain," noted Jackson. "Sometimes people send us just a few brief notes about their Dates From Hell. That's fine We can write it up from just a few highlights. Or maybe I should say 'lowlights'," she added.
