New North Carolina News Network Website

The North Carolina News Network now has a new website at www.ncnn.com. The new look provides visitors with informative and up to date content. The network, serving North Carolina for over forty-six years, has won numerous awards including the distinguished Edward R. Murrow award, as well as various AP awards, including best sportscast and first in general news for legislative coverage.

Special features include up to date news, weather, business, and sports reports. Utilizing Real Networks' software to distribute the content, Capitolnet Marketing Group has news reports available in Real Audio in three different formats.

The section, "InDepth" covers an array of topics including NC issues, the Legislature, and special interest series. NCNN's weekly report on issues critical to the state of North Carolina is available in Real Audio. NCNN also hosts a weekly report on all the General Assembly's events. Also available in Real Audio is a live call-in show with Governor Hunt.

NCNN also hosts a special interest series that focuses on various issues affecting our community and nation. The topic of the current series is the year 2000 problem. Email delivery is also available. Other features include text summaries, online articles, affiliate lists and links to various North Carolina organizations.
