New Format For Feed Magazine

Posted on May 22, 1997

FEE, an online magazine, is celebrating its two year anniversary with a format change. FEED announced a new daily news-driven media column and a new interface for readers. FEED is an on-line magazine of culture, news, technology and politics, and was founded by journalists Steven Johnson and Stefanie Syman in 1995.

The new column will be authored by various different writers, including noted media analysts and writers. The daily feature will contain links to other spots on the Web that complement the main article. FEED announced that it will add MetaLinks inside its stories. Instead of linking to another site, the MetaLinks will act as a sidebar or commentary on the main article being read, and will include quotes, definitions and additional facts for the reader.

FEED also has modified its home page by adding HTML frames, a new search engine, and a new site index to assist readers.
