GGC Publishing, L.L.C., publisher of Jezebel, an entertainment magazine targeted at Southern readers, announced the hiring of Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Ellen Howle, in the Editor-In-Chief position for its entertainment title. GCC also announced that they have hired 30-year publishing veteran and former VP/Group Publisher for Primedia's Intertec Publishing division, William Manning as Chief Operating Officer for the company.

Last month, the company announced a circulation increase from 40,000 to 100,000 in the near future due to newsstand demand and additional paid subscriptions throughout the Southern region. Jezebel, founded by the young media duo of Josh Goodhart and Adam Capes, is the first consumer entertainment magazine to tailor its editorial coverage specifically for the South.
