Posted on November 20, 1997
NetProfit$, a bi-monthly magazine for small to medium-sized businesses on the Web, was recently launched with a controlled circulation of 100,000.
The goal of NetProfit$ is to provide novice and more seasoned "Internet entrepreneurs" with quality information that brings clarity to the fast-paced and quickly changing Web-commerce industry. The magazine is organized into 11 regular sections and three feature articles that inform, educate and entertain the reader on all aspects of electronic commerce.
The premiere issue has three features demonstrating the diversity and quality of editorial that readers will soon associate with NetProfit$. "The Amazing Golf Outlet" by Mark Nardone effectively examined the success and setbacks of this ambitious merchant's attempt to move product on the Web. "Jingle All The Way" by Ken Burke outlined strategies for optimizing holiday sales, and "Going Once, Going Twice: Make Money on Auction Sites" provides an overview of the opportunities for selling goods online without creating a Web site.
