N2K Relaunches Rocktropolis.com

N2K Inc. unveiled the newly redesigned Rocktropolis -- The Rock Supersite at the CMJ MusicFest. The relaunch of the site will officially occur on September 8th. Rocktropolis, now features a whole new look and a wide variety of new programming, highlighted by the integration of the online music magazine "allstar." The award-winning site will combine state-of-the-art graphics and technology with a new approach to Web site programming.

The updated Rocktropolis includes the following content channels:

RT1 -- The live events network, the channel you tune in to see, hear, or interact with the biggest names in rock music -- Bush, Beck, the Sex Pistols, and the Chemical Brothers, have previously shaken its walls. Listen to rare in-depth interviews with a rich base of classic artists -- The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and others discuss the making of their most famous albums.

"allstar" -- Rocktropolis' a daily online music magazine featuring Daily Music News, Daily Gossip, and Daily Album Reviews.

BUZZ -- The community hang where users come to interact with their favorite artists and with each other. The Buzz Cafe houses special-event chats with superstar artists like Motley Crue and Sheryl Crow, regularly scheduled weekly time-based chat shows and as always, active 24-hour chat rooms and bulletin boards.
