Mysterious Yahoo Search Bot Indexing Feeds

Some bloggers and webmasters are reporting that a possibly new Yahoo RSS Feed search engine is in development because they are seeing a new bot from Yahoo crawling through their RSS feeds. Some webmasters have been seeing the bot in their logs since mid-January. The bot is called Yahoo Newscrawler Test and is apparently not one of Yahoo's current bots for news and website indexing or for the my.yahoo.com rss feed service. Yahoo has not made any announcements about a RSS Feed search engine that would compete with existing RSS search tools like PubSub.com and Technorati.
