Mysteries of the Bible Site Finds Flaws in Bible Codes

Posted on March 6, 1998

Many books are hitting the best sellers lists world-wide, claiming that prophetic messages are encoded in the Bible.

Michael Drosnin's book has even been picked up by Warner Brothers for a potential movie. Both Yacov Rambsel's Yeshua and Grant R. Jeffrey's The Signature of God are best sellers on the Christian Bookshop circuit where sales far exceed any Barnes and Noble/Amazon totals.

Now "Mysteries of the Bible" a leading web site on Biblical matters has posted a piece showing a fatal flaw in the scientific work originally published in the prestigious academic journal Statistical Science on which all these best-selling books have based their theories. The important message to be gleaned from the site is "Buyer Beware" it could be one of the great hoaxes of the century.
