MTV Books Launches The Write Stuff Short Story Competition

MTV Books announced that it will launch "The Write Stuff: Short Story Competition" on September 1, 1998. The competition is open to unpublished writers ages 16 to 28 and runs until December 1, 1998.

Up to fifteen writers will be published in an upcoming anthology from MTV Books. Submissions must not exceed 25 typed pages and should be double-spaced, one-sided only on 8 1/2 x 11 paper.

"MTV Books began its support of young authors with the launch of our fiction contest, and we are excited to continue the search for new writers with our short story fiction contest," said Eduardo A. Braniff, Publishing Director, MTV/VH1 Books.
