Movieline magazine, a monthly periodical about movies and the people who make them, has launched their new website, Movieline Online, it was announced jointly today by Anne Volokh, president and executive publisher of Movieline magazine, and Harry Bernstein, vice president of business development for Reel.com. The Movieline site is created in partnership with Reel.com.

"Movieline readers are the most sophisticated audience imaginable," said Anne Volokh, president and executive publisher of Movieline magazine. "We're thrilled to now offer them instant access to our valuable content, while helping them make purchases and/or rentals through our partnership with Reel.com."

"This agreement gives Reel.com a strategic partnership with a remarkable movie and celebrity publication," said Harry Bernstein, vice president of business development for Reel.com. "We believe that the future success of the Movieline site will provide Reel.com with a high traffic portal to its commerce area."

The site gives online access to content from its monthly print magazine, with features devoted to "The 100 Greatest Movies Ever Made," "Bad Movies We Love," "The Movie That Changed My Life" and "Greatish Performances," among others. Content developed exclusively for the site will include the two online features "Hot Dish" and "Read Any Good Showbiz Books Lately?"

All of the content is hyperlinked, by star/director names as well as film titles, to more in-depth information and purchasing opportunities on the Reel.com site. Each film title on the Movieline site links to a corresponding movie overview page created by Reel.com's staff of writers.
