More Blogging Tools Bubble Up

The popularity of blogging is leading to the release of new technologies by companies hoping to cash in on the blog publishing boom. The new technologies try to make it easier for people to collaborate on a community blog. They offer features that let people quickly post text and multimedia, like digital pictures or video clips, onto a blog or website. One new tool, called Bubbler from Five Across, claims to make it easier and faster for people to build a community blog with information, audio, video and photographs -- such as a blog for a soccer team or community project.
A recent AP article on emerging blog technologies mentions Bubbler, iUpload, JotSpot and Pluck. The article also refers to wikis and it is worth noting that Google has offered to host the most popular wiki project, Wikipedia.
