The newest destination for the highly acclaimed Magic Tree House series is cyberspace, with the launch of the official Magic Tree House web site.

"Magic Tree House books continually heighten children's love of reading and are lauded by both parents and educators," said Mark Dazzo, Director of Marketing and Market Development, Random House Children's Publishing. "We've created a site that provides kids with a fun and exciting outlet which encourages both reading and writing."

In addition to the interactive areas for kids, the Magic Tree House web site features unique areas of interest to teachers, including the "Teacher's Tree House" which allows teachers to exchange ideas for using Magic Tree House books in the classroom. All visitors can enjoy "Ask the Author" feature which gives fans an opportunity to communicate with Mary Pope Osborne. The site will also hot link to related books and web sites allowing interested visitors to easily find additional information on particular subjects.
