M-Sat Releases Exclusive Satellite Images of the USA

The French company M-Sat has added the United States to its series of natural-coloured, high-definition satellite pictures of the earth. M-Sat is now established in over 15 European countries, recently started in the USA, and will be in Japan in the near future. This process requires a strong computer and mosaic treatment.

Since M-Sat commenced business, its history has been a never-ending story of World records. M-Sat gained its first record with a picture of France (1994, a mosaic of 40 pictures). Second was the first image of Europe (1996) viewed from satellite in natural colours, which required a mosaic of 300 pictures. Most recently, the M-Sat company has acquired the first picture of the entire USA viewed from satellite in high-definition and natural colours. This job required five full-time people over one year to computerise and mosaic the 432 different satellite pictures, which now constitute the final, and beautiful new look of the USA.

This performance allows M-Sat the opportunity to show you exclusively, and for the first time, a range of 60 amazing views, from the picture of the entire USA, to all the well-known tourist spots covering 25 States and the 30 major cities. This full range of pictures are 30 x 30 metres precised, and in natural colours.
