LifeSoft announced that its new KidSmart Worldwide division started doing business on the Web, offering direct online purchase of children's educational, personal growth and entertaining books, CDs, audio tapes, games, puzzles and more. KidSmart also is dealing with independent publishers of various sizes to distribute their materials.

"We have signed 55 contracts with various authors and publishers," said LifeSoft Chairman and CEO, Peter Christiano, "all designed to develop 'star qualities' in children around the world."

Christiano also said Phase II will be the placement of kiosks in local community libraries across the North American continent in a revolutionary revenue sharing program. This will allow community library patrons without access to books of the world the ability to order books directly with their credit cards. The library would receive a share of the revenue.

LifeSoft Corp. also develops, markets and supports point of sale software that enables retailers to increase add-on sales through increased product awareness by the consumer. LifeSoft Corp. is on Microsoft's directory of Software Solution Providers for retailers.
