LANTimes to Publish Inside Windows NT

Posted on September 1, 1998

CMP Media Inc. will start publishing Inside Windows NT, a monthly editorial demographic section in LANTimes, its biweekly distributed-computing publication. The new section debuts in the October 12 issue with product information and practical advice for 110,000 network and information-systems professionals and channel buyers who build, buy and manage Windows NT Server-based networks and applications.

LANTimes Publisher Patricia Schnaidt said the new edition is being introduced in response to the growing informational needs of LANTimes readers and is prompted by the increasing use of Windows NT Server and NT-powered applications in distributed computing environments. "Three-fourths of our readers have Windows NT Server installed or on their buy lists. Next year's widely anticipated introduction of NT 5.0 will accelerate both Windows NT deployments and related purchases and already is generating great demand for additional news analysis and product information," she said.
