Posted on September 14, 1998

Curiocity magazine, an upbeat publication created for and about kids ages 8 to 12, is being launched in 10 major cities the week of September 14, reaching a circulation of more than 500,000.

"Expanding into the top ten markets will generate national brand recognition of Curiocity For Kids," said Barbara Wolf, marketing manager for Curiocity For Kids. "The expansion provides opportunities for involvement by additional publishing partners, educators, national advertisers and kid participants."

Each issue will include an in-depth local calendar of events and a mix of features including sports, pop culture, fiction, technology, games, recipes and crafts. Each local magazine brings kids an interactive component with its own companion website.
